當你聽到有人這么說英語：Aiya, what’s the matter with you? Wei, are you John? Aiyo, I hurt my head. 你會感覺怎么樣？Too Chinglish，是嗎？說的是英語，發出的語氣詞卻是地道的漢語。有個留學生到美國八年還搞不清楚uh-uh和uh-oh 的區別，沒一次說對過，所以氣不過干脆一個也不用了，以后只說yes, no，和oh shit。這種現象太普遍了，原因就在于，我們對老外的語氣詞太不了解了。所以要想把英語講得有洋味兒，你首先要學會像老外那樣哼哼哈哈！

下面是老外常用的語氣詞，快學會它們吧：

1. Ah [ɑ:] 表痛苦、歡樂、懊悔、憎恨、厭惡、驚訝、遺憾、蔑視等

2. Aha [ɑ:'hɑ:] 表滿意、快樂、勝利、得意、驚訝等；常含有冷嘲熱諷或愚弄意

——Aha! That's it. Now I know what to do. 啊哈！就是這樣。現在我知道該怎么做了！

——Aha, so there you are! 啊哈，原來你在這里。

3. Ahem [?'hem] 咳嗽聲，喚起注意, 或表示懷疑

——Ahem, I wonder if I can raise this problem with you now. 呃哼，我現在能否向您提及這問題。

4. Aw 哦！噢！（表示抗議， 厭惡， 討厭等）

——"Aw, you screwed me again! " protested the bartender. “靠！你又騙了我一回！”調酒師幾乎是抗議地叫出聲來。

5. Bah! [ bɑ: ] 輕蔑，厭惡

——Bah! You've wasted my time. Goodbye. 呸！你在浪費我的時間，再見。

6. Blah [bla:] 反復地說，什么什么的

——All she does is go "blah-blah-blah" all night, but she never says anything worth remembering the next morning. 她整夜說個不停，但沒有一句值得記到第二天早上的話。

——Brrr! It's already March, but it's so cold today! I can't stand it. 嗚！都已經三月了，今天還這么冷！真受不了。

9. Eek [i:k] 表害怕

——Eek! His eyes are wide open! But he's fast asleep! 學徒：咦！他的眼睛睜得大大的！但睡得正香呢！

10. Eh [ei] 啊，嗯！（表示驚奇、疑問等）

11. Eww! 呦！嘗到，聞到或看到令人反感的東西時的反應
